My Poetry

These are my thoughts, my voice, my words.
...Whithout them I'm silent.

A Dying Breed

The Silver Line

Far beyond the dark a light is slowly rising
Caught between the highs and lows I resign

Seal the air I breathe and save these words
so forever leads to birth
Scrape the silver line for all its worth
cause I know now I'd be nothing with it gone

Stay inside the lines
the colors are bleeding over mine
Favoring a dream to come true
aye but nightmares are dreams too

Seal the air I breathe and save these words
so forever leads to birth
Scrape the silver line for all its worth
cause I know now I'd be nothing with it gone

In this freezing cold I am shielding a drying seed
for this earth it owes me to regrow a dying breed
like me
and like her

Not far behind the light the dark will swallow me and mine

Soon

so there's doubt in a conclusion
The queen of nothing crowned
has hidden what was found
And there's hope in a decision
heavy soothing blur
a cracking voice is served

what you say is true
and there's only one thing that you can do
..but I'll get right back to you soon

There's a flaw in this perfection
a rusting silver spoon
to violins out of tune

with a milion words to say now when your down
and a milion more to bury under ground
There¥s an emotion mountain you withdrew
So now there's only one thing you can do
...but I'll get right back to you soon

New Latitudes

In harmony we both align
and with your wings you'll learn to fly
But for right now, fold under mine

no fairy tale or nursery rhyme
will shelter you from evil that hides behind darkness in daytime

beauty lies beneath its veil
an empty canvas, my hands are shaking

create new latitudes
this, my design for you
cause its your world now
your world now

innocence, a field in drought
no angel tears will soak the earth
and ease my doubt
fallen beauty cries beneath its veil
an empty canvas, my hands are shaking

create new latitudes
this, my design for you
cause its your world now
your world now

Might as Well Go

Feel your skin is dry and breaking
peel it off till it burns

your halo is bright, but your aura is dark
You're singing the sweetest melody with no heart

Seal your lips, you're too close. I'm watching
run your fingers through her hair and I'll break them, I swear

your intentions may be right, but I'm low on your trust
And asking for the world is asking for too much

You fall and you're broken down into bits and pieces too
and you paint your heart with gold and you sell what you sow
but it leaves your heart so cold, so you might as well go

steal her words and spell them askew
disappointment sticks to you through your own point of view

your halo is bright, but your aura is dark
You're singing the sweetest melody with no heart

You fall and you're broken down into bits and pieces too
and you paint your heart with gold and you sell what you sow
but it leaves your heart so cold, so you might as well go
yeah it leaves your heart so cold, so you might as well go
bleed out your heart on the wall
and scream out your secrets to us all
and pour out your anger down stream
because we all don't share the same dream

and you paint your heart with gold and you sell what you sow
but it leaves your heart so cold, so you might as well go

Buried Under Leaves

in a land of make believe, im doing fine.
I'm waiting for the day when I leave
I lead a fool down the mine
just to walk away

cause I believe you need to fail
and carry your own light
before you get to shine bright
if I lose my light
I'll smile another time
for as long as you need me to lie

cause what you Burried under leaves back in Autumn
will bloom in beauty by May
and I feel everythings gonna be awesome
yeah I know everythings gonna be fine
so fine

I never meant to make moon of a while
but it was all I used to know
and I belong here all my life
I shiver as I go

cause I believe you need to fail
and carry your own light
before you get to shine bright
if I lose my light
I'll smile another time
for as long as you need me to lie

cause what you Burried under leaves back in Autumn
will bloom in beauty by May
and I feel everythings gonna be awesome
yeah I know everythings gonna be fine
what you Burried under leaves back in Autumn
will bloom in beauty by May
and I feel everythings gonna be a-ok
'cause I know everythings gonna be fine
so fine

Raise My Glass

I'm not sure wich way the wind blew
but I remember waterfalls around you
but you do, what you need to
to make sure the horison surrounds you

and I miss you
when I'm home again I'll join you

nothing tears me apart like you do
nothing wares out my heart like you do
still I will raise my glass up high to you

I'm not sure when the rain came
As I recall the sun was there to guide you
we shine through cause we're meant to
and if we fall I know I'll fall down beside you

and I miss you
When I'm home again I'll join you

'cause nothing tears me apart like you do
nothing wares out my heart like you do
still I will raise my glass up high to you

Send me away for a lifetime instead
the further, the brighter I glow
or leave me alone cause I like it sometimes
apon my hurting throne
sweet memory versus sorrow

still I will raise my glass up high to you

nothing tears me apart like you do
nothing wares out my heart like you do
but still I will raise my glass up high to you

Porcelain

Boosting morals and batteries
grey shaded colors and energy
the sun ain't shining down on your parade
curtain coming down on this charade

a fine intrusion
to let us know you'll see this through
(eventually)
poisoning the weakest part of you
when everything is made out of porcelain, we bleed

feeding the fire with gasoline
hang and rely on a safety pin
Freezing cold the shoulder that you lean on
treacherous the kingpin that you count on

a fine illusion
to let us know you'll see this through
(eventually)
poisoning the weakest part of you

if stories were a few words you could choose
if only everybody would believe you
if everyone could get what they deserve
if anyone would take the time to hear you
when everything is made out of porcelain, we bleed

a fine illusion, steadily
when everything is made out of porcelain

The Storm

There's blood in the ocean that we fell into
This High tide has left a bruise.
a new shade of black and blue
new shade of black and blue

there's mud in the water that leads away
poured us out from the bay
we're drifting with hell to pay
drifting with hell to pay

so leave me overdue
or lead me back to you
ooh ooh

The storm isn't over
and the night is through
lean on the strongest wave
the lighthouse is fading
and dawn is due
still we are swept away
So leave me overdue
or lead me back to you
close to you

All Of Me

The ashes formed a miracle
from the fire's dancing charm
burning desire
But an army of suspicion
caught a general unarmed
and called him a liar

I Feel the need to store all this energy
in places where we whisper and decieve
and Keep these seeds and plant them in misery
and watch them grow into a mystery
watch them grow and devour all of me

Leaving shadows undefined
where part of me remains
ruins are scattered
a puzzle where the pieces lie
that they fit inside the frame
fool me shattered

I Feel the need to store all this energy
in places where we whisper and decieve
so take these seeds and plant them in misery
and watch them grow into a mystery
watch them grow and devour all of me

please let me proceed
forward through the ruins in the field
please let my footprints remind me
which route i took that devoured all of me

The Shepherd

In The End

What if boredom leads to fame
What if the guilty aren’t to blame
Admire the one who carries
the cross that you refuse to wear

(so you run) Will they hurt you?
(you are wrong) Or be a friend?
(now you’re gone) So who deserts who in the end?
(this is not where you belong) So move on

What if indifference will pay now
and what if we break down those barricades
Admire the one who takes on
the freight train that you’ve been running from

(so you run) Do they deserve you?
(you are wrong) Do they pretend?
(now you’re gone) So who deserts who in the end?
(this is not where you belong) So move on

What if I believe this world is a fantasy
and our history is just a lie
and the wheel we spin, that we run in, a conspiracy
just to make us feel alive
What if the blues finally is gone
then I can prove the world you’re wrong and then
catch the last laugh in the end

June

Along these years this
train has been breaking down
These tracks have been laid for you
to sweep you off the ground
Say they lead you and leave you
wandering on the way you choose
with these words that weren’t meant to be news

Staring at the second hand
a train is due to take you out of town
Preparing to leave present time
But the stations faces are holding you down
sundown, no one around, paperboy making his rounds

Is he making you feel special?
is he making you feel fine?
is he making you feel special?
Leave it be, June will make it right

Morning dew, there’s a fog here to wake you up
sprinkling along the fields like teardrops
You say you’ve been here so many times before
your eyelids carry the paint
from a picture that you once saw

I hear that you’re laying sleepless at night
and I hear that you’re good friends with cheap white wine
I hear that you say that you’re ok
and that you’re doing just fine
Leave it be, ‘cause June will make it right

Mine

The weight up on my shoulders
unsurpassed, new annual ring
This Winter feels much colder
than the last run for Spring

When I leave
bury me in you memory
If I close my eyes
will you let me?

Beneath the sheets of comfort
let me sleep through the night
When tragedy is over
you'll see me, the morning light

When I leave
bury me down by the sea
If I close my eyes
will you let me?

If silence is golden
then mine is a river
of words that I hold in
plated with silver
these words are mine
only mine

Six Million Dollar Man

Your tongue trembles with wisdom
people come from miles and miles away
they climb up to your feet to listen what you say
come on and swing with me
Your voice is so sweet and clear
and everything that used to trouble my mind
yeah it just seems to disappear
so feel free to come and swing with me

So allow me to introduce myself
and the walls that they painted around me
gone decorated six million dollar man
and if you smash those walls to pieces baby,
you’ll find out who I am
I ain’t no six million dollar man

Where you going where have you been
you’ve got a million miles to go so where do you begin
come on come on, you’re way past leaving
come on and swing with me
Now my head is so, is so full of all of this
I’m so tired I’m breaking so come and swing with me

When I said that they could expect anything
from sunny rays to cloudy days to pouring rain
Now their heads are turning
they expect everything from me
everything that I can’t give away

Ignore Me

You know it burdens me
to have you join me tonight
You used to pick your own fight

You could be my best friend
Listen to me complain all night
Because half way through you
you see I'm almost half right
I'm gonna let you drown my pain tonight
because I don't know what I've been going through
and I don't know what I'm supposed to do
any more than you

You know it hurts me
to have you here by my side
You paint my face with a fake smile

I'm gonna let you drown my pain tonight
because You don't know what I've been going through
and I don't know what I'm supposed to do
any more than you

Well so leave me here while I borrow the rest of my life
and I still believe that you hollow my inside out
but we're good
I know that you'd ignore me if you could

Well so leave me here while I borrow the rest of my life
and I still believe that you hollow my inside out
And along the hardest road my feet feel strong
but the deeper I go the weaker I become
but we're good
I know that you'd ignore me
I know that you'd ignore me if you could

Freezing

We all sit down
we all sit down and smile for the last time
And our days turn into memories and fold into past time
Words are said
Apologies accepted

Shine up, reveal a brighter sun
on me to make it better
Shine up, reveal a brighter sun
Tonight it’s freezing, so keep me warm

I could be leaving ground
but I feel love is bound to a season
well the frost stays where the shadows lay
and I hold on to mine
yeah but I’m freezing

You are welcome now
you are welcome now home to heal my heart
Cause the further we are afar
almost closer when we’re apart
a fist can’t cause the pain that words can
put wish in one hand
and regret in the other hand (regret)

So let the sun shine down on me
so I can make it better
So come on push that cold away
Tonight it’s freezing, so freezing

Losing

New altitude, my heavy heart is breathing
my lungs are caving in
and my gratitude is packing up and leaving

But I’m slowly losing my mind
gradually descending
I’m stalling the end of the line
so where’s my happy ending?

I’m losing my cool again
you said it’s fine, we all go off track sometimes
and I’m losing my head again
I know it’s fine
It’s better than losing, it’s better than losing you

Put my feet back on the ground
I’m all set for tripping over, as I’m sure I will eventually
and the saddle that I found hanging on my shoulder
it suits me

I feel like I’m falling, like I’m doing time
building up a conscience for someone else’s crime
There ain’t no solution, there ain’t no life line
trying hard to see it from the bright side
but I’m losing my head again
keeping my heart open bleeding on my sleeve
it’s getting hard to breathe
I’m losing my cool again
I know its fine… its better than losing you

Numerical Order

Now I’m begging you to pray
pray for your own kind
feeding the war in your own mind
and now I’m begging you to stay
in the longest line
breathing the oxygen that I design

The sand I hold
the grains I feel falling through
Yeah you live you learn and you wait your turn until I need you

Secretly inside, you still wander around
I created you, I can tear you down
All these roots still need water
all these roots in numerical order

Now one morning you might see
through the tainted glass
shadows of what used to be your own past
Now the warning signs you read
might make sense at last
breathing the oxygen behind a mask

When I'm Down

All my life I’ve longed
been through the right and wrong
and I look back, I remember
All my hurt, all my pain and all my tears
I’ve been lost, I’ve been found
I remember

Welding all these bridges made from steel
will join up all these ridges but won’t heal the way I feel
the way I feel when I’m down

A burning heart, a flame
the youth I can’t reclaim
and I look back, I remember
All my fears all my flaws through all these years
I would hide, and I lied
I remember

I’m sorry for the burden that I’ve been

Crying Wolf

All the words in the world they seem to
they seem to be meant to make you smile
Then malevolence is bound to make you
fall into silence for a while
and I’ll be there screaming at the top of my lungs tonight

Please release your sheep they’re slowly dying
and please believe me
your shepherd is crying wolf again

By believing might make an amendment
but it won’t make the words come true
They’ll be leading you in disappointment
but still they mean the world to you
and I’ll be there explaining at the top of my lungs tonight

And it won’t be for the last time overlooking every field
where aimlessly they roam
grazing on your sighing
endlessly alone
these promises weren’t meant to be… he’s lying
lying

Believe

Believe what I found is still here
one in a million
Nine years around, loving of the sweetest kind

But what I knew way back then ain’t what I know now
and how I feel, it’s just like when I fell in love that night
Yeah she´s the best thing in my life

believe what I need is right here
one in a million
So close I feel her heart beat inside mine

You know I love you yeah you do
and I know you love me too

Morning

Morning, please treat me good after last night
I’m calling you, I’m pleading you to shed some light
and I’m hoping you can make things all right
And I’m begging you to help me forget
and I’m begging you to numb my regret

Cause when I wake up aching sore
I swear I just can’t take no more
So I’ll leave all the melodies at home
Yeah I’ll leave all the melodies alone

Morning, I count on you to bring some ease
I’m calling you, I’m falling down on my knees
and I don’t blame you for nothing man I know it’s all me
and I’m begging you to keep silent for me
and I’m begging you to watch over me
